          AUGUST MEMBER OF THE MONTH
          Kevin and Sherry Collins and Family

          Pennylane Hereford Stud, Taranaki


            In August we acknowledged Kevin and Sherry Collins of
         Pennylane Hereford Stud.

            Pennylane is a family run business established in
         June 1978 and has been running for 44 years. Kevin and
         Sherry's children and grandchildren are fully involved in
         the operation and it is a great joy for them to see their
         great granddaughters starting to be part of the team.

            Their farm consists of 350 acres of mixed flats to steep
         hills and normally carries 250 Bulls, Hereford, Angus and
         Jersey 2 and 3 year old Bulls for their Bull Sale. This year
         is their 29th Annual Sale. The Collins family also have   Kevin and Sherry Collins, Pennylane Hereford Stud.

            Posy recently caught up with Bill at the Northland
          spring sales.

            Bill has been breeding Herefords since the 1970s. He
          started with commercial Herefords using AI from the
          around the world but then decided to move to registered
          Herefords. He continued to use AI on his registered
          Herefords and more recently he bought two stud bulls
          which he’s enjoyed using, WaimaireTechno 177 and Mahuta
