NZ Herefords invite you to a FREE education day, on Friday 27th November starting at 10.00am and finishing shortly after lunch. The day is intended to provide members an opportunity to update current knowledge and learn something new, as well as having a much needed catch up!
The North Island Education Day will begin with informative sessions at LIC Farm, Jack Hooper Center, 835 Rukuhia Rd (Dairy supply 73373), followed by a practical session at Craigmore Stud, 429 Rukuhia Road courtesy of the Henderson family.

REGISTRY
For new members and for those wanting to refresh their knowledge, Sam Brosnahan will demonstrate entering Calf entries, ADLs, weights and answer one to one queries.
DNA
Megan Ellett will be on hand to answer all your DNA questions and to demonstrate pre-filling of the genotype application form and definition of results.
SNP testing
Andrew Russo (Chair of Registry committee) will answer your questions regarding SNP test results and demonstrate how to find sale catalogues, filtering searches, and EBV searches on Internet Solutions.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
Posy Moody (NZH GM) will summarise the current and impending rules and regulations.
STRUCTURAL ASSESSMENT
Colin Corney (NZH President) and David Henderson of Craigmore Stud will work together using demonstration animals to emphasise the importance of structural assessment.
