Lance and Sandy, who has been part of the Baker family
for 25 years, farm in partnership with Joan and Lance’s dad
Toby. Lance has two adult children Wade (who works in the
city as a draughtsman and helps on the farm at weekends)
and Robyn, and one granddaughter, Aaliyah, 10.
They also have the Silverado Paint Horse Stud. Paint horses
are English and Western all-round sport horses. “They’re
coloured like Herefords too,” Sandy says with a laugh.
