Bruce was the fourth generation McKenzie on Maungahina.
The stud was established by his great-grandfather in 1907
and maintains its 113-year legacy by breeding and selling
quality genetics that stand the test of time.
That great-grandfather was Scotland-born Donald McKenzie,
who was renowned for his sound judgement of stock. His
name became familiar in New Zealand show rings and he was
