Craigmore Baton 190260 sold to Hain Herefords for $15,000.

           headlined by Craigmore Baton 190260, a large framed, low birth
           weight yearling from the successful Baton sire line, who sold for
           $15,000 to Hain Herefords, Gisborne. This was closely followed
           by the sale of Craigmore Victor 190297 to Otamatea Herefords
           for $13,500, and the $11,500 paid by Orari Gorge Herefords for
           Craigmore Explorer 190202. As usual a large number of bulls
           were sold for stud transfer, with 15 young bulls sold to other
           recorded Hereford herds for stud use.
            Mahuta Herefords, Ararimu, continued building on the
           strength of previous sales to sell to a top of $13,000 for Mahuta
           Perregrine 9063. Perregrine 9063, by Limehills Starter, combines
           a super-low birth weight and calving ease with exceptional
           phenotype. At the end of a spirited bidding duel, he was
           knocked down to Matariki Herefords, Kaikoura. Other strong
           stud and commercial interests pushed the average to $3414 on   Ardo yearling bulls on a dark, wet August day.
