After enjoying a delicious lunch put on by the Clements
family, everyone spent the rest of the afternoon viewing the
outstanding line up of Herefords on display. The Clements
family had made available a large number of cattle for the
tour group to view on the day, which was appreciated by
everyone on the tour. A huge thank you to the Clements
       family for their hospitality.
The 2017 mini tour proved yet again, that Northland
breeders are breeding cattle that are upholding the traits
that you expect to see in the Hereford breed. They are
producing animals that adapt easily to Northland’s at times
challenging climatic conditions and are meeting the needs
       of their target markets.
Even though Northland had endured a drought last
summer the cattle displayed on the day were all in good
condition, which is testament to the enduring qualities of
       the Hereford breed.
