Eligibility for cattle into this particular market includes:

• Pure bred Hereford • Two kills of 90 head. These lines can be made up of
• Heifers and steers cattle from more than one supplier anywhere in the
• Up to 3 years old South Island.
• Farm assured, antibiotic free • The processing plant is to be advised.
• Grass fed • The Hereford cattle will be eligible for the Alliance
• Grade P1, P2, T1 & T2 Handpicked premiums and Alliance have committed
• CWs between 270-370kg (ideally about 300kgCW) that those premiums will also be available for any
• Score pH 5.8 or lower cattle supplied by non-shareholding farmers.
• Meat colour score 0-4 • Hereford cattle that fall outside the eligibility
• Fat colour score 0-1 parameters will be paid the schedule price on the
