was like during the conversion back to sheep and beef – they
were expecting their first child and trying to build an extra
bedroom on their one-bedroom cottage at the same time.
“The first cows were arriving and we had no yards, just the
load-out race. It all happened quite quickly,” she says, “but the
Herefords have always been a pleasure to deal with, and the
Hereford calves are always the friendliest for the girls. We love
farm life, as well as walking in the bush.”
Campbell agrees.
“I love it here, and I very much love my Herefords. I don’t
think I could imagine doing anything else.” Two-year-old heifers with their first calves.
