Sale 2021, with the champion title and the
highest price respectively.
M An inaugural helmsman auction, brought
about in part by pandemic restrictions, was the highlight of
the sale at Orlando Country on the outskirts of Palmerston
North. The new selling format resulted in a few changes to
national sale traditions.
The opportunity to view the bulls during the lead-up to the
sale was either online or visually at the vendors’ studs. General
feedback was positive, although several breeders commented
the videos did not do the bulls justice.
